An Ocean of Fishes
An aquarium for your wall or bed!
This fun quilt design can be paper pieced or pieced traditionally. There are three sizes of fish; 3”(7.6cm), 6”(15cm) & 9”(23cm), which can mixed and matched to create your own ocean quilt.
The instructions include both traditional piecing with rotary cut patches and paperpiecing templates. If you choose the paper piecing method, you should have knowledge of basic techniques.
This design works well for large print fabrics, the more unusual the better; Hawaiian, African, batik, etc. That’s what makes them tropical fish! Then choose among all the amazing prints available now that would make a good ocean background for your colorful fish.
