Knotwork Nine Patch
An infinite series of circles to share with your love.
Featuring patchwork and applique, and inspired by a classic patchwork design, this innovative quilt design uses pieced blocks combined with bias applique. Choose fabrics from your stash for a scrappy look! For hand or machine applique using bias you've made with your favorite method. This pattern is makes a 51" (130cm) square quilt, but the design could be easily adjusted to make a larger or smaller quilt. This is the first design in a new series of Celtic applique and patchwork patterns by Scarlett Rose. Use scraps from your stash to keep this patchwork project green!
Lots of diagrams and optional instructions make this quilt pattern versatile and easy to understand.
Finished Quilt Size:
51" x 51" (Easily adjustable)
Light prints - 9 assorted 1/4 YD. Each (FQ or quarter)(Blocks)
Light print 1 YD. (Inset patches)
Dark prints - 9 assorted 1/2 YD. Each (1st and 3rd borders)
Contrast prints - 10 assorted 3/8 YD. Each (Bias strips and 2nd border)
Backing 3 YDS.
