San Kamon
Lovely Japanese crests adorn this quilt. Tor your wall or dining room table.
This lovely pattern by Scarlett Rose features 3 different interlace designs for appliqué or hand embroidery. Make a small wallhanging or use this lovely design for a tablerunner. For the appliqué version, make your bias strips from three different fabrics that coordinate with the border fabric, pulling the colors from the multicolor print you’ve chosen.
Instructions include how to make your own bias by two different methods, for hand or machine appliqué. If you’re making the embroidered version, use the stem stitch to embroider the 3 blocks that will be set together with a pleated flange, lattice strips and border. "San Kamon" means "three family crests" in Japanese!
